Hi There! I'm Jen Boudreau,

founder of Moxie Strength and Nutrition. For years, I struggled with my weight, wanting nothing more than to be happy and like what I saw in the mirror, only to grow more and more frustrated and confused over all the contradictory information and gimmicky weight loss programs out there.

I tried it all, it seemed, and always lost a little weight, but was never able to keep it off. I finally decided to take my health into my own hands and began educating myself on everything related to being happy and healthy: nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, inner work, and even decluttering!

I learned that none of these things exist in a vacuum and that in order to achieve my goals, I was going to have to start making some changes in areas that I had never before considered.

It took a lot of trial and error, and a lot of patience, but I ultimately ended up losing 200 pounds!

I then decided to become a personal trainer in order to share my knowledge, experience, and skills to help others realize their health and wellness dreams; and I have spent the last decade doing just that. And knowing that exercise wasn’t the only piece of the puzzle, I became a nutritionist and a health coach, too. Even my years as a personal chef came in handy, as I realized that telling people to eat better isn’t helpful if they don’t know how to cook healthily.

I care so much about my clients, and want nothing more than to ensure that working with me makes you happy, confident, and strong. I wish to save you the unnecessary time I spent and the frustration I experienced.

I understand how being unhealthy affects your whole life; and as a working mom, I know first-hand how crazy and hectic life can be, as well as all the reasons we have for not focusing on ourselves more. I am also familiar with how mental health issues, abuse, trauma, and eating disorders can wreak havoc with the best-laid plans and intentions.
